VEG. MEAT DUMPLING

INGREDIENT

Bamboo Leaves (Soak in water over night)
Dumpling Ropes
Glutinous Rice
Everbest Veg. Layer Meat (sliced)
Soaked Mushroom (cubes)
Chestnut & Peanut

SEASONING

Salt
Sugar
Light soy sauce
Dark soy sauce
Pepper powder
Five spices powder
Water

METHOD

Preparation:

  1. Soak Bamboo Leaves in water over night
  2. Soak Glutinous Rice in water for 4 hours

Cooking Method:

  1. Preheat oil, stir fry glutinous rice with sauce until even then set aside.
  2. Simmer Mushroom and Veg. Layer meat for about 20mins then set aside.Boi
  3. l Chestnut and Peanut until cooked,drain and set aside.
  4. Take 2 piece of bamboo leaves,fold into cone shape at about 1/3 length of the leaves, then fill in glutinous rice at the bottom,fill in other prepared ingredients then cover with glutinous rice again.
  5. Wrap it well and tie it with dumpling rope, simmer it in boiling water (water must cover the dumpling) for 2hours. Drain and ready to serve.
