Everbest Vegan Half Roasted Chicken
Prego Carbonara Sauce
Step by Step Cooking:
You can use normal cooking oil or olive oil to first preheat the oil. Then, proceed to deep fry Everbest vegan roasted chicken until it turns slightly brown. After you have finished deep frying your chicken, pick it up and drain the excess oil from the chicken.
Leave the Everbest vegan roasted chicken to be drained and proceed to boil your pasta in a pot filled with half of water for about 6-8 minutes. Once your pasta is fully cooked, drain the excess water and add 1 or 2 tbsp. of olive oil. Mix the pasta with olive oil and put it aside.
Preheat 1 tbsp. of olive oil or other cooking oil and mix the secondary ingredients with the recommended seasonings to stir fry until it turns brownish and gives a sweet aroma.
Lastly, add in your carbonara sauce and cook it under low heat. After it boils, mix it with your pasta and stir it well for about 3 minutes.
After it has been mixed and stirred, serve onto a plate and sprinkle it with a pinch or two of parsley over your pasta.
Your Spaghetti Carbonara with Everbest vegan roasted chicken is now ready to be served.
The Everbest vegan roasted chicken is made from soy meat products that are safe for vegans. You can obtain this type of vegetarian meat in Malaysia from vegetarian food manufacturers in Malaysia, such as Everbest. In this case, you only need half of the chicken which weighs around 80 gram.
The amount of spaghetti you need depends on how much servings are you making. In this cooking, a serving of 200g of spaghetti is used (enough for 3 adults). You can use more if you like. The use of parsley helps to produce sweet like aroma when making the sauce. A pinch or two is used in the making of this meal.
You can make your homemade sauce for your spaghetti carbonara on your spare time if you like. However, in this meal, we are using 1 can of carbonara sauce from Prego. It’s easier and faster to prepare the sauce.
Mushrooms are one of the well-known ingredients in spaghetti. Here, we need 4 pieces of button mushrooms which are then cut into half. Fresh mushrooms gives a different taste and wonderful aroma when added into your cooking. In this meal, we’re using 3 pieces of fresh mushrooms that are cut into half.
Capsicums have a lot of vitamin C and A. A green capsicum is also prepared in a serving of 15 gram that is cut into small cubes. Red capsicum gives sweeter taste due to their more natural sugar than green capsicum. We also use 15 gram of red capsicum that is cut into small cubes. Olive oil adds a heart-healthy fat and is good for your health compared to other cooking oils. We recommend using 1-2 tbsp. of olive oil when preparing this meal. A pinch of sugar is added to give a little sweetness to the taste. The use of sugar (in moderation) is recommended to maintain your overall health.
Aside from a pinch of sugar, we will also add in a pinch of salt as part of the recommended seasoning to enhance the overall taste. Similar to the use of sugar, you are also advised to use salt in moderation when seasoning your meals.
Finally a dash of white pepper is used to give a little spicy taste. It also helps to enhance the aroma of your meal.
